Smith,215/656 -6091 Provide all labor, materials, and supervision necessary to recover refrigerant from the existing chillers; demolish the existing chillers, chilled water pumps, condenser water pumps, cooling towers, and associated piping with each item; provide new chillers, cooling towers, chilled water pumps, condenser water pumps, and associated piping with each item; expand the existing EMCS for additional points; provide electrical systems for each item listed to include solid state motor starters, motor control center modifications, interior lighting fixtures and raceways, and conductors associated with each item; and inspect, test, and balance all of the items listed. This work is to be performed at the SSA Operations Complex, West High and Low Rises, Woodlawn, MD. This procurement also includes three options as follows: Option 1 is to replace the existing fluorescent lighting fixtures in the mechanical room; Option 2 is to provide two redundant secondary chilled water pumps, and Option 3 is to provide permanent refrigerant pump out system in lieu of portable system. The estimate cost range for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This procurement is being issued unrestricted, under full and open competition in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
