5340-01-204-3009, part number 9392419. Special purpose Web tiedown
strap. The Web tiedown strap consists of a ratchet; 2 swiv-El snap
hooks; 2 Web protector sleeves, and Web strap, 240.0 in. Length min
extended; 36.0 in. Length max retracted with sleeve re-moved. Webbing
material is polyester, type V, class 2, MIL-W-25361, NO splices, color
camouflage Green 483; all ends seared to preventfraying. Tiedown assy
shall withstand a minimum load of 5,000 lbs for a minimum period of 30
seconds without evidence of deterioration or damage that may impair its
intended operation; in addition swivel hooks shall rotate freely, hook
keepers must function properly, and webbing must slip freely through
the ratchet buckle. Tiedown assy shall withstand a minimum of 7,000 lbs
without slippage of the Web Bing and rupture of stitches and metal
parts. Tiedown strap withouthooks, when pull test to failure, shall
withstand a minimum load of 8,000 lbs before failure occurs. The Short
end of the tiedown strap with stitching patterns at both ends shall
withstand a minimum load of 8,700 lbs before failure occurs (C0mplete
separation of the Web-Bing). Requirements are 17,625 EA special purpose
Web tiedown strap. FOB is destination. MIL-I-45208 inspection criteria
required. Pro-posed contract is a 100% small business set-aside. First
article test is required. The proposed contract will include a 100%
option. Estimated issue date of this Solicitation is 070395. Effective
