72 -- LIFT, ORCHESTRA SOL F0561195R0034 DUE 073195 POC Russell Jordan, 719/472-2862. Requirement will consist of one (1) motorized cover/lift to completely seal the orchestra pit at stage level during periods of non-use. The cover/lift will be capable of lowering itself to provide the sub-floor platform when in use by the orchestra. The cover/lift will be the manufacturer's standard design, customized to fit the Arnold Hall orchestra pit. Lifting and lowering will be achieved by electric motor driven screw/thrust devices which will provide minimal thickness when in the lowered position. Maximum deflection at the platform edge under symmetrical uniform lifted load shall be 1/2 inch. Gaps between the lift and fixed floor shall not exceed 3/8 inch and leveling precision shall be +/- 1/8 inch maximum. The cover/lift shall be designed and fabricated to support a live load of 125 pounds per square foot, lifting and static. Delivery FOB Destination: USAF Academy CO 80840.
