The Monongahela National Forest anticipates contracting with the West Virginia Natural Heritage Program on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302 for the preparation of 22 element stewardship abstracts (ESAs) and 14 element global rankings (EGRs) for selected sensitive species relevant to the Monongahela National Forest. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement in writing within 30 days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. (145)
