The Naval Research Laboratory intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competitive basis with ANSOFT Corporation, Pittsburgh, PA, 15219 for Maxwell 3D Electro/Magnetostatic Solver for one user on HP 9000/755 workstation with HPUX9.x. The software must exchange 3-D data with Hewlett-Packard's(HP) High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) 3.0 software, (b) must automatically generate final solution mesh from device geometry (adaptive meshing), (c) must accept 2- and 3-D geometry from external sources in either DXF, IGES, or STL format. Technical support will be for one year with software upgrades.
