Gatt Document TBT/Notification G/95.144 dated 10 May 1995. 1. Member

document: Royal decree repealing the order of 16 October 1993 (1 page).
6. Description of content: The order of 16 October 1993 stipulating the
date on which the Commodities Act Order on Fire Safety for Nightwear
shall come into force is being repealed. As a result, the Commodities
Act Order on Fire Safety for Nightwear is no longer valid. 7. Objective
and rationale: The Dutch Government has recently introduced a policy to
promote market forces, deregulation and legislative quality. Within
this framework, existing regulations are being scrutinized, including
the Commodities Act Order on Fire Safety for Nightwear. The Commodities
Act Order on Fire Safety for Nightwear is being suspended until further
notice, pending the results of the aforementioned policy. 8. Relevant
documents: Commodities Act. Commodities Act Order on Fire Safety for
Nightwear (88/0053/NL). Order of 16 October 1993, stipulating the date
on which the Commodities Act Order on Fire Safety for Nightwear shall
come into force. 9. Proposed date of adoption and entry into force: 25
