The Monongahela National Forest anticipates contracting for the rental of heavy equipment with operators on an hourly basis to perform clearing of National Forest lands for construction of wildlife openings at various locations in Tucker County, West Virginia. The work will utilize an estimated 225 hours of Crawler Tractor (74-80 HP) clearing 13 acres for one Bid Item and an estimated 115 hours of Crawler Tractor (74-80 HP) clearing 7 acres for the second Bid Item. The equipment will be used to clear brush and other debris and for grubbing large stumps on the respective project areas. This is a 100% Small Business Labor Surplus Area Set Aside.
