The work consists of, but not limited to, furnishing all plant, labor,
materials and equipment necessary to excavate approximately 900 feet of
the left bank of the Root River beneath the Minnesota State Highway 76
Bridge. Work involves approximately 15,000 cubic yards of excavation
and 500 cubic yards of riprap stone protection. Work site is located in
the northern portion of the City of Houston, in southwestern Minnesota.
The field work is expected to begin in August 1995 and last through
September 1995. This procurement is issued unrestricted under the Small
Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (P.L. 100-656). SIC Code
- 1629, the Small Business Size is $17 million. Estimated magnitude of
the construction in terms of physical characteristics and estimated
price range between $100,000 and $250,000. Plans and specifications are
expected to be available approximately June 14, 1995 with bid opening
on or about July 14, 1995. Specifications will be furnished upon
written request only, with a non-refundable charge of: half-size
drawings with one copy of specification, $16.00; full-size drawings
with one copy of specification, $37.00; copy of specification only,
