Ponce, Contracting Officer, (505) 784-2888. This solicitation is for Repair Exterior, Gemini Phase II, Project No. 94-0025 at Cannon AFB, New Mexico. Project includes replacement of all existing exterior doors and windows, the application of an exterior insulating stucco finish system, replacement of patio roof covers, replacement of all exterior light fixtures, electrical receptacles, and exterior switches, replacement of patio roof covers, replacement of all exterior hose bibs, and replacement of wood fences surrounding mechanical enclosure. Work will take place entirely with the confines of the Gemini military family housing area of Cannon AFB, New Mexico. Magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $1,000,000. Performance time is 240 calendar days. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100% set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns that meet this criteria who wish to be considered in accordance with Public Law and Federal Acquisition Regulations should, as early as possible, but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest by providing to the Contracting Officer evidence of capability to perform (including references for similar work with points of contact, telephone numbers and contract numbers), letter from bonding company certifying maximum level of bonding for the proposed project, affirmative statement requesting set-aside action and intent to bid, a positive statement of eligibility as a small, socially and economically disadvantaged business concern and a nonrefundable check of $20.00 made payable to the Treasurer of the United States for the solicitation package. Even if you have sent evidence of SDB eligibility on a prior solicitation, you must submit documentation that will become a part of this solicitation file. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns within 15 days of this notice, this solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. Firms should indicate whether they are women owned, small, or large business concerns. Also firms should state if they are interested as a prime contractor or as a subcontractor. IFB will be issued on or about 13 Jun 95. Site Visit is scheduled for 22 Jun 95. Bid Opening is set for 13 Jul 95. There will be nonrefundable charge of $20.00 for this solicitation. Checks shall be made payable to the Treasurer of the United States and must be included in your request for this solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered.
