The work includes demolition of interior steel stud partition, pair wood doors and metal frame, chain link security partition and related gates, and construction of steel stud partitions with related wood doors in metal frames and finishes, suspended acoustical ceilings and resilient and quarry tile floor materials for an Exercise Room and two Locker/Toilet/Shower facilities, including new HVAC systems, electrical and lighting and incidental related work. This proposed acquisition is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business concerns. The following information must be submitted. Interested SDB concerns should notify this office in writing of their intention to bid the project as prime contractor as early as possible but NLT 12 June 1995. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economincally disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds from an approved surety and specific info which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete info concerning management experience in similar work and current financial statement shall be submitted with references. If the requested information is not received from an adequate numberof SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. Even if you have sent the above information on a prior contract, you must submit documentation that will become part of this solicitation file. Therefore replies to this office are requested from all interested business concerns as well as from small disadvantaged business concerns.
