This project shall include but shall not be limited to the following: Upgrading fire protection system in hangars to meet current codes including new piping, building addition, fire alarm and communication systems, trenching, full renovation of pump house and addition of a water storage tank. This will require upgrading the fire pumping system and fire detection system, and replacing the protein foam system with a three percent (3%) aqueous film forming foam (AFFF) system.
