The effort will involve the use of subcontractor-furnished labor, material, equipment, tools, supervision, and transportation, required to perform construction work associated with the SPR Consolidated Life Extension Program, at the Bryan Mound SPR Site, in Freeport, Brazoria County, Texas. The work includes cavern piping reconfiguration, installation of pipe racks and cable tray supports, and upgrade of the distribution control system. The work to be performed is best classified under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 1629, (Heavy Construction, Except Dredging, Not Elsewhere Classified). The magnitude of this requirement is anticipated to be more than $10,000,000.00, and will be an unrestricted procurement. A solicitation is expected to be issued around July 1, 1995.
