Description of Project: Provide all materials, labor, and necessary equipment to replace/repair the existing security gates and steel grating in accordance with the specifications and drawings. This includes corrosion prevention to protect all metallic materials against corrosion. The work to be performed will be at 50 various Launch Facilities (LFs) in the missile site complex located in the vicinity of Malmstrom AFB MT. Tentative opening date is 14 Jul 95. The Invitation for bid (IFB) number is F24604 95 B0020. Any resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price with a Notice to Proceed (NTP) to be issued on or about 30 Jul 95, with a performance period of 180 calendar days thereafter. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Solicitation will be issued to prospective bidders on a first-come-first-served basis when requested in writing. This project is open competition, large and small, in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
