The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division plans to procure the following items from AMPEX Data Systems Corporation: 1) DCRsi 240 Lab System, Part Number 1301800-01 - 1 each; 2) I/O Mating Connector Set, Part Number 1301805-01 - 1 each; 3) Slide Assembly Mounting Kit, Part Number 1301191-01 - 1 each; 4) DCRsi Cassette, Part Number 1302473 (10 tapes per carton) - 1 carton. The AMPEX DCRsi 240 is the only recorder has the required airborne instrumentation capabilities and is compatible with existing Government owned DCRsi 107 recorder. The AMPEX DCRsi systems have a proprietary tape format unique to the system that does not allow other manufacture equipment to read the data. See Note 22. (0146)
