The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for a stylus-based surface profilometer for use in Navy High Resolution Microlithography and Patterning programs. The profilometer must have high measurement precision and accept a variety of sample types. The profilometer must meet stringent requirements for measurement accuracy, repeatability, and daptability. The instrument must be equipped with a computer that is an IBM-compatible PC/AT with 80486DX-33 MHz processor, 170 MB hard drive, 3.5' 1.4 MB floppy disk drive, 14'' VGA monitor, and enhanced 101 AT keyboard or better.
