NASA Lewis Research Center and the FAA are cooperating to investigate Ice Contaminated Tailplane Stall. NASA will use it's Twin Otter to measure parameters in flight that will aid in the investigation. The Twin Otter currently acquires flight data on a Science Engineering Asso. Model 200 data system. This system needs to be modified and updated to simultaneously acquire air data, inertial data, control surface data, pilot force data, tail surface pressure data, and 5-hole flow probe data. The system will control, acquire, and store data from ScanniValve ZOC14 pressure modules, acquire and store fuel-flow totalizer data, engine RPM and Torque. Data will output to a column row format for analysis. Work to be completed by July 31, 1995. Estimated award date 06-22-95. Delivery to Cleveland, Ohio 44135.
