JUNE 22, 1995: ISO 9000 WORKSHOP & MARKETING TO U.S. AND STATE GOVERNMENTS WORKSHOP The U.S. Department of Commerce's BXA West 1995 Resource Matching Program along with the Orange County Chamber of Commerce will be offering an ``International Standard: ISO 9000'' Workshop and a ``Marketing to the U.S. and State Governments'' Workshop. The ``ISO 9000'' workshop will discuss how ISO 9000 contributes to a company's quality system. Representatives of the U.S. Department of Commerce will explain changing trends in defense and global market standards and specifications so that your company can identify differences between your existing quality system and the requirements of ISO 9000. The ``Marketing to the U.S. and State Governments'' Workshop will provide specific guidance on bidding procedures, set aside contracts for minority and disadvantaged firms, and ``tricks of the trade'' that will help you successfully do business with Federal and State governments.
