aggregate pavement on a requirements basis. Work will include part or
all of the following: Removal and replacement of existing concrete
slabs-on-grade, removal and replacement of marble and concrete pavers
and pedestal systems; removal of existing sand setting material;
installation of drainage mat support; placement of exposed aggregate
topping, realignment of pavers and joints; installation of expansion
joint sealant; surface sawcutting of pavement, and repair/installation
of waterproofing membrane. This proposed requirements (IDIQ)
solicitation provides for a minimum of $100,000 in work over the term
of the contract, including two one-year options, with a yearly
potential of $3 million. Responsible sources may request this
unrestricted solicitation by letter containing their business size
(large, small, SDB, 8(a), etc.) and street address. Our FAX number is

Availability will be on a first come first serve basis with the initial
20 sets of this solicitation being reserved for those firms indicating
their intent to bid, have a capability to perform any resulting
contract, and possess the bonding capacity necessary for a contract of
this nature and magnitude. Exposed aggregate is highly technical in
nature and firms are cautioned that previous experience with exposed
aggregate is encouraged. Contractors should possess the following
qualifications: (1) Three years working Arch Rigid Pavements (terrazzo,
pavers systems, etc.), (2) Have worked on at least one project of
$1,000,000 in scope, and (3) Have worked on at least three projects in
the range of $100,000-$150,000 in scope. For informational purposes
the small business size standard for this solicitation is one where the
average annual receipts of the concern and its affiliates for the
preceding three fiscal years does not exceed $7 million and the SIC
code is 1771. This acquisition is being considered for a 100 percent
set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested
SDB concerns shall furnish no later than 15 days after this notice,
eligibility (SDB), bonding capacity, financial statement, and list of
previous projects (include size, dollar value, point of contact with
phone number). If interest is not received from SDB concerns, the
solicitation will be issued as unrestricted. The solicitation is
tentatively scheduled for issuance on or about 16 Jun 95. Women-owned
and small disadvantaged business concerns are encouraged to submit
offers. Concerns may review the solicitation at this address or local
