following: Partial demolition of SSALR light bars; removal of SSALR
regulator-substation and loading for return shipment to depot; removal
of 8' x 12' storage shed and 50KVA transformer at regulator-substation
site; removal of 8' x 12' Localizer building; removal of approx. 7200
sq. ft. of gravel surfaced access road and parking areas and restore
sites; installation of MALSR light bars; construction of 12' x 16'
combined Localizer and MALSR building; installation of underground
power and control cables to MALSR light bars and localizer antenna;
construction of approximately 400 L.F. of 13' wide crushed rock access
road and miscellaneous other crushed rock surfaced
parking/turnaround/work areas, miscellaneous civil and electrical work.
Estimated bidding range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Bid documents

THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONS PURPOSES FOR MINORITY, WOMEN-OWNED AND
DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISES: The Department of Transportation
(DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantage Business Utilization (OSDBU),
has programs to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business
enterprises to acquire short-term working capital and bonding
assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to
any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding
Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance, and
payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80
percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans
are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at
prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The
