Z -- MODIFY PROPANE SUPPLY SYSTEM SOL 1-081-DFC.3169 DUE 071495 POC Bid Distribution Office, 804-864-2547. Modify Propane Supply System including, but not limited to: Provide new concrete foundation, wall, and fence for new Government-furnished propane storage tank; Remove existing propane transfer line and valves at existing storage tank; Install new Government-furnished 6000 gallon propane storage tank; Provide a new 20 GPM propane transfer pump, motor, and associated valving; Insulate the propane transfer line between the new storage tank and existing run tank; Provide a second propane supply line from the existing run tank to the Jet Engine Simulator; Provide a 5 GPM/1500 PSIG Hydraulic Power Unit for the Government-furnished propane control valves; Install new Government-furnished propane control valves; Provide power and controls for new propane pump, new valves, and new hydraulic power unit; Provide outdoor lighting in propane storage tank vicinity; Provide terminal blocks, relay, and wiring in the control room; Provide relays, safety fireyes, connections to valves, and wiring in the solenoid panel; Provide ignition transformers, wiring, and ultraviolet light sensors for propane burner ignition; Provide instrumentation wiring and connections, including thermocouple jack panel, flow meters, resistance temperature detectors (RTD's), and transmitters; Install Government-furnished propane gas sensors and provide wiring; Provide connections to Government-furnished servo valves and control system; Provide intrinsic safety barriers and isolators for designated circuits. Provide new enclosure for mounting these devices; Perform point-to-point wiring checks to verify all connections; and, Perform calibration and testing. Contract duration 120 days--Estimated cost range between $100,000 and $250,000--All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered.--Bid opening is approximate--Solicitation available approximately 6-14-95.
