The Government intends to procure 1 each Mark 7 Mod 3+ Arresting Engine Set which includes 18 each 28 inch pitch diameter sheave assemblies and 18 each 33 inch pitch diameter sheave assemblies. The contractor will also provide 36 each four-flanged cylindrical roller thrust bearing type, featuring a one-piece outer-land riding cage. The sheave assembly shall be ''coined''. Coining shall be performed using a hydraulic press having a minimum load capacity of 393 long tons. A force of 393 long tons shall be applied during the coining operation. Delivery shall be no later than 30 June 1996. Any delay in delivering these items will result in a major delay in the Government's test program.
