The shredder must have stainless steel or galvinized infeed hopper and discharge chute. Electric drive motor must be explosion proof, 30 HP, TEFC, NEMA B for class I Group D, or class II Group C, or equivalent. Contractor will remove and dispose existing shredder and provide piping from the machine to the existing water supply. Balancing, aligning, and adjusting must be provided as well to achieve proper function. Gruendler Crusher and Pulverizer Company, Type #2 Gruendler Sewage Shredder or equal.
