The National Science Foundation (NSF), Division of Information Systems (DIS), has a requirement for acquiring software support services. These services include development and maintenance support for NSF's mission and administrative information systems. These systems include the Proposal System, the Award System and the Financial System. These systems now reside on an IBM 3090 mainframe, but enhancements/changes to these systems are being undertaken in a client server environment. A wide range of support will be required, including: system design and development, changes to existing applications, database management, data quality activities, and technology assessment. It is expected that multiple awards will result from this solicitation. The contract will be for one year with four one-year renewable options, and will be an ID/IQ contract implemented by Task Orders. Task Orders will be awarded on a firm fixed-price or level of effort basis. The RFP is expected to be issued on or about June 30, 1995. Requests for the RFP must be made in writing. (0150)
