R -- CONTRACT FOR GENERAL ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES SOL F31610-95-R0015. DUE 070395. Contact SSGT Joyce Haubrich, (919) 736-5504 Ext 260. Contract for Architectural and Engineering Design Services. Services will include site investigation and vertification of as-built drawings, preparation of plans and specifications, design analysis, construction cost and time estimates, and various studies, reports and other documents related to the design of this project. The selected firm shall be capable of providing final drawings formatted in the latest release of AUTOCAD. Each final drawing file shall be provided on 3-1/2 inch, 1.44 MB floppy disk, formatted in MS-DOS 5.0 or higher. Work will be for Seymour Johnson AFB North Carolina. The design project will consist of adding a second normal electrical service; replacing existing building transformer and single ended, secondary switchgear with two full capacity transformers and a full capacity, double ended, switchgear line-up with tie breaker; and, additional work as required to bring the Air Force Base Hospital into compliance with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO) standards and NFPA 99 and 101 codes. The selected A&E firm will specialize in hospital electrical distribution systems. Architect/Engineer firms which meet the requirements described in this announcement and desiring consideration shall submit appropriate data as described on Numbered Notes 24 and 25 no later than 4:30 P.M. ET 3 Jul 1995. Standard Form 255 ``A-E and Related Services Questionnaire for Specific Project'' will be required. This is not a request for proposal. Firms responding to this announcement by the closing date will be considered for selection. Following an initial evaluation of the qualification and performance data submitted, three firms considered to be the most highly qualified to provide the type of services required, will be chosen for negoation.
