COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF june 1,1995 PSA#1358IR&D TECHNICAL INTERCHANGE MEETING (TIM), sponsored by the U.S. Army
CECOM RDEC Intelligence and Electronic Warfare Directorate. The TIM is
to be held late September/early October 1995, in Chantilly, VA. The
specific date will be provided with registration information. The
purpose of the meeting is to maximize the potential benefit of
Industrial IR&D programs by presenting IEWD critical technology areas,
in which, working level relationships may be developed. Topic areas to
be discussed include: Signals Intelligence; Command and Control
Warfare; Intelligence Information Collection/Fusion/Dissemination;
Intelligence Electronic Warfare Modeling and Simulation; Radar
Deception and Jamming (non-platform protection); and Radio Frequency
Measurement and Signature Intelligence. At the meeting, IEWD principle
investigators will present specific technology problems for
consideration by Industry under their IR&D program. The intent is for
a technical interchange with a format that allows time for questions.
Since space is limited, Industry is asked to restrict attendance to
technical representatives with experience in the identified technology
areas. A registration fee will be charged, and pre-registration will
