The work consists of approximately 10 two-story brick veneer dormitory
buildings and a central support facility totalling approximately
34,000 square feet. Sitework will include utilities, landscaping, and
paving for parking and drives. This project will require professional
Architectural and Engineering Services normally associated with
apartment type construction. Proposals will be evaluated on the basis
of technical merit and price. Proposals will not require submission of
design drawings or specifications. Award will be based on the proposal
found to be most advantageous to the Government considering the
technical and price proposals. Evaluation criteria consists of four
factors, (1) Experience of Construction Team and Design Team, (2)
Quality Control Plan, (3) Management Plan, and (4) Corporate
Commitment. Estimated magnitude of work is between $1,000,000.00 to
$5,000,000.00. Issue date for solicitation will be on or about 26 June
1995 at a cost of $49.15 for Solicitation with Half Size Drawings;
$58.75 for Solicitation and Full Size Drawings; and $31.25 for
Solicitation only. Drawings are also available on 3.5'' computer disk,
Intergraph format for $10.00 each. (Charges are non-refundable).
Solicitation documents will be made available upon written request, to
include check or money order payable to FAO, U.S. Army, LRD, Corps of
Engineers, mailed to Contracting Division at the above address. Bid
Opening Date will be on or about 09 August 1995 at 4:00 p.m. This
