This solicitation is for Maintain Interior Paint/Tile, 801 MFH, Project No. 96-0008 and Maintain Interior Paint/Tile, On-Base MFH, Project No. 96-0009 at Cannon AFB, New Mexico. Project includes repainting interior of housing units, removal and replacement of floor tile, replacement of cove base, repairing and refinishing cabinets, refinishing natural finished woodwork, removing and installing toilets, removing carpet and replacement with floor tile, and other maintenance work as detailed in the specifications. Work will take place entirely with the confines of military family housing areas of Cannon AFB, New Mexico to include the Portales 801 housing area and the Clovis 801 housing area.Magnitude of the project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 per contract period. This solicitation includes two option periods. Performance time is 365 calendar days per contract period. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100% set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns that meet this criteria who wish to be considered in accordance with Public Law and Federal Acquisition Regulations should, as early as possible, but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest by providing to the Contracting Officer evidence of capability to perform (including references for similar work with points of contact, telephone numbers and contract numbers), letter from bonding company certifying maximum level of bonding for the proposed project, affirmative statement requesting set-aside action and intent to bid, a positive statement of eligibility as a small, socially and economically disadvantaged business concern and a nonrefundable check of $10.00 made payable to the Treasurer of the United States for the solicitation package. Even if you have sent evidence of SDB eligibility on a prior solicitation, you must submit documentation that will become a part of this solicitation file. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns within 15 days of this notice, this solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. Firms should indicate whether they are women owned, small, or large business concerns. Also firms should state if they are interested as a prime contractor or as a subcontractor. IFB will be issued on or about 14 Jul 95. Site Visit is scheduled for 28 Jul 95. Bid Opening is set for 14 Aug 95. There will be nonrefundable charge of $10.00 for this solicitation.
