(NAVSEA) Affordability Through Commonality (ATC) Project Hull & Human
Systems Support Group is investigating/developing new concepts for
shipboard hull & human support systems that will result in ship life
cycle cost savings. Savings may be incurred through modularity,
equipment and interface standardization/commonality on a fleet wide
basis, commercialization, performance specification development,
improved/efficient assembly of equipment/systems, and replaceable
components/subassemblies to ease maintenance. Areas of particular
interest include: food services spaces/equipment, signage (placecards,
labels, etc.), supply/stowage spaces/systems, furniture, officer/crew
living and sanitary spaces, and damage control equipment systems.
Parties interested in submitting information should do so by 5 July
