The chamber shall consist of an environmentally controlled enclosure, hoist system, associated electrical and mechanical equipment controls and instrumentation. The chamber shall be suitable for conditioning and drop testing of small and large shipping containers. The impact surface shall withstand drop test per Federal Test Method Standard 101. An Ombudsman has been established for this acquisition. The only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use established channels to communicate his/her concern during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.
