The Naval Ordnance Station, Louisville intends to procure the following items: Thirty-four (34) Gun Barrel Forgings for 5/54 MK 19. Material to be steel alloy IAW MIL-S-46119C. Forging is tubular with a 12'' OD, 4.5'' ID, by 23' 5'' overall length. Twenty (20) Forging Tubes for the MK75 Barrel Tubes. Material to be alloy steel IAW MIL-S-46119C and forged to all drawing requirements. The tube is approximately 278MM (10.944'') OD x 116 MM (4.566'') ID x 2290 MM (90.157'') long. First article requirements may be waived for contractors who have produced same or similar items previously. Delivery of the first article units (if required) is 100 DAC and the production quantity is due 220 DAC. Delivery without first article units is 150 DAC. Telephone requests are unacceptable.
