Mallgrave (301) 975-6330 The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for one lot of C-axis oriented pyrolytic graphite crystals for use as a higher-order neutron filter. Each piece which makes up the filter shall be of rectangular shape, and fit together with no gaps along the edges, to cover a beam area of 165mm x 64mm. Total thickness of the filter shall be 30mm. The Mosaic Spread shall be 3.5 degrees FWHm or better. The FOB Point shall be destination, Gaithersburg, Maryland. The required time of delivery is 180 days after award of contract.
