The objective of this procurement is to fabricate and demonstrate a prototype test equipment that determines a quantitative measurement of the ignition performance/output of percussion primers (5.56mm). In addition, an establishment of a baseline data base and a fingerprint trace of various primer configurations is required. The system shall include and be capable of but not be limited to: automated data display, data storage, and statistical trend analysis. This proposed system's goal is to provide an automated method for quantifying percussion primers prior to being utilized in a cartridge case. (0151)
