Description of Content: This technical specification is applicable with reference to the type approval of devices equipped with G.703 interfaces, intended to be connected to leased digital lines or to the PSTN network. It applies to structured interfaces operating at 2048 KBITS/S and provides for symmetrical and asymmetrical arrangements. The specialized codes are HDR3 and AMI. TSO is used for the frame and cannot therefore be used for the data. The G.703 interface provides access to leased lines by means of LTE. PBX or PSTN connection is also possible with a G.703 interface. 7. Objective and Rationale: Adaptation of the existing specification, BE/SP-103, published 1 January 1992 - 2 MBITS seared. 8.
