Y -- COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES CENTER, FORT MCCOY, WISCONSIN SOL NAFFN3-95-B-0084 DUE 072595 POC Contact Contracting Division at: (402)221-4266. The work will include the following: (Approx. quantities) NEW WORK incl: COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES CENTER (a recreation center, single story 26,940 GSF plus 990 SF of covered roof area at the entry canopy and banquet room patio) including: bar/lounge, bowling lanes and dining, steel frame unprotected construction with non-load bearing CMU walls with 4 inch face brick and precast concrete, standing seam metal roof with EPDM roof at exterior freezer cooler, 8 lane bowling center with synthetic lanes, food and bar server, wet and dry pipe sprinkler fire protection, HVAC, plumbing, electrical lighting and wiring. SITE WORK incl: 23,000 CY earthwork, 8.5 acres clearing and grubbing, 325 LF sanitary sewer pipe, 1450 LF water mains, 3650 LF natural gas main, 200 LF of electrical primary service, 9400 SY bituminous pavement for parking and service drives, 300 SY concrete pavement, pavement marking and striping. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $5,000,000 and $7,500,000. Contractor's Quality Control will be a requirement in this contract. The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the work 365 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Bid sets will be available on/a June 21, 1995. Half-size plans and specifications will be furnished upon request. All requests for solicitation packages should be made in writing no later than 14 days prior to bid opening. After such time, packages will be furnished if supply is available. It has been determined that the number of sets be limited to 1 (one) per firm (additional copies will be the responsibility of the requestor).
