Pre-Solicitation, Project YTPM 93-0138, Repair Steam Distribution System. Project consists of the repair and replacementof steam and condensate piping located in concrete ducts, access manholes and building service entrance pits. Work includes removal of pipe expansion joints, pipe anchors and pipe guides, installation of gate valves, expansion joints, pipe guides, pipe anchors, weld neck flanges and pipe roller supports. Pipe connections are both welded and flanges. System testing is to include both pressure testing and radiographic inspection. Work is to include excavation, back-fill and restoration of ground surfaces as required to access pipe locations. One job, Project YTPM 93-0138. Bid issue on or about 28 July 1995. Bid opening on or about 7 Sep 1995. Performance period will be 365 calendar days. Estimated cost of construction is $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. This procurement is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Concerns.
