Work consist of the installation of a Government furnished (GFE) 100KW engine generator (E/G) at an existing Terminal Doppler Weather Radar (TDWR) generator room for Cloverfield Airport in Brazoria County, Pearland, Texas (Houston Hobby). Work shall include the installation of all mechanical and electrical items required for the proper operation of a Government furnished engine generator set, accessories, and contractor furnished items. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials (other than the GFE), transportation, and other facilities necessary to satisfy the requirements. The contractor shall provide the services of authorized manufacturer representatives. The work will take place in an existing operating facility. Estimated price range is between $25,000.00 to $100,000.00. There will be no charge for the specifications and drawings. The proposed procurement is unrestricted regarding business size. The BOD is an approximate date only. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 1731. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses.
