10 -- GENERAL NOTICE: JOINT DIRECT ATTACK MUNITION (JDAM) PRODUCTION LOTS 1 AND 2 POC Ms. Emily Jay, Contracting Officer, (904) 882-4261, Ext 3074. The Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) EMD Phase I effort was competitively awarded to McDonnell Douglas and Martin Marietta. These contractors are currently competing between themselves for the EMD Phase II effort. Under the authority of FAR 6.302, the JDAM program office intends to add options to the contract of the winner of the JDAM downselect for JDAM Lots 1 and 2. The government anticipates option exercise of Lot 1 in FY97 and Lot 2 in FY98. The government will solicit and negotiate with the two incumbent EMD Phase I contractors, McDonnell Douglas and Martin Marietta, solely. Additionally, the JDAM office plans to request a Production Price Commitment Curve (PPCC) for Lots 3 through 5. A class J&A is planned for approval of this sole source for all production contracts.
