The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) plans to issue a solicitation for 50% sodium-sulfated castor oil (nonvolatile) on or about July 7, 1995. The solution shall be delivered in bulk and drums to the BEP, Washington, D. C. facility in accordance with BEP Specification C:COS-1E, dated November 7, 1994. The solicitation is a firm fixed-price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, with one (1) 12-month period of performance and two (2) 12-month option periods. The estimated quantity requirement per year is 238,333 gallons by bulk and 10,000 gallons by drum. Interested businesses are required to submit a written request for a copy of this solicitation within thirty (30) calendar days of the date of this announcement. The written request must include a statement of the company's size status (i.e., Large, Small, Minority, or Woman-Owned). A material sample will be required. Telephone requests will not be honored. Firms that responded to a Sources Sought synopsis published in April 1995, need not resubmit their requests.
