The Defense Mapping Agency (DMA), (under authority granted by Federal Technology Transfer Act of 1986 (FTTA); Executive Order 12591, Facilitating Access to Science and Technology; DoD 3200.12-R-4 of 27 Dec 88, Domestic Technology Transfer Program Regulation), is interested in forming Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs) with industry partners in technical areas of mutual benefit for technology development, demonstration and transfer. Technology areas in which DMA has performed substantial research and development and will consider CRADA partnerships include, but are not limited to: Advanced Technologies for Mapping, Charting and Geodesy (MC&G); Geospatial Information (Extraction, Display, Transmission and Retrieval) Technologies; Remote Sensing Technology; Hydrographic Data Collection; Large-Scal Data Management, Formatting and Storage; Geographic Information Systems; Large-Scale Data Management, Formatting and Storage; Geographic Information Systems; Large-Scale Computer-Based Systems and Software Engineering, Reengineering, Migration, Maintenance and Infrastructure; and High Performance Computing. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to contact DMA for individual Principal Investigators interested in their particular technology area and to request a DMA CRADA Handbook which provides further information on DMA CRADA format. This notice, in conjunction with the DMA CRADA Handbook, constitutes the total BAA. This BAA shall remain open until 4:00 P.M., September 30, 1995.
