Management and custodial services for one to four family properties owned or held by the Department of Housing and Urban Development in the Birmingham West Area. The Birmingham West Area as established under this RFP consist of all properties located in Jefferson and Shelby Counties West of I-65 and in the counties of Lamar, Fayette, Walker, Pickens, Tuscaloosa and Bibb. The Duties will include but are not limited to: preparing specifications for repairs, soliciting bids for repairs, performing lawn maintenance, winterizing property and pool, securing property and pool, conducting property inspections, installing locks, and cleaning interior and exterior. To qualify for award the contractor must be a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Alabama, and must be wxperienced in Management of Single Family Properties. Additionally, to qualify for award, the contractor must establish an office within the contract area prior to commencement of the contract and all employees working on the contract must be identified in the solicitation.
