This project is for the removal of the existing prestressed double-tee bridge with rock masonry abutments, and the construction of a new 24-foot wide treated timber bridge, with treated timber wingwalls and abutments. The work will also include raising the approach grades, removing several large spruce trees, and paving the reconstructed section. The contractor will need to order the treated timber approx. 30-45 days in advance of actual construction, which is estimated to begin 9/5/95. Solicitation will be issued approximately 6/19/95. This proposed procurement is between $100,000 and $250,000. Plans will be available at a $15 non-refundable charge on a first come first served basis.
