concerns should as early as possible, but not later than 10 calendar
days after publication of this notice, indicate interest in bidding as
the prime or as a subcontractor on the project, evidence of capability
to perform including references for similar work with contract numbers,
point of contact, and telephone numbers, and if appropriate a positive
statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically
disadvantaged business concern. In addition, dollar amount of current
construction bonding capability as required. The Contracting Officer
will utilize the information received to make a decision to issue this
solicitation as set-aside for Small Disadvantage Business (SDB) or as
``UNRESTRICTED'' without further notice. Therefore, replies to this
notice are requested from all interested business concerns as well as
from SDB concerns. Replies must indicate the firm's size status such as
large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, or 8(a).
The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 1623. The
applicable small business size standard including affiliates is no more
than $17.0 million average annual revenue for the previous three years.
Provide all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, testing and
disposal services required for the removal and site reclamation of
three 25,000 gallon and three 12,000 gallon jet fuel tanks; one 2,000
gallon, one 1,100 gallon, one 10,000 gallon, and one 4,000 gallon fuel
oil tank; one 4,000 gallon gasoline tank; one 2,000 gallon diesel fuel
tank; and one 500 gallon used oil tank. All removal of UST's and
restoration shall be in accordance with U.S. and State of Illinois EPA
specifications and Illinois Department of Transportation Standard
Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. The period of
performance is 120 calendar days. The cost for this project is
estimated between $100,000 and $500,000. Telephone requests will not be
