Pre-Solicitation, Project YTPM 95-7001, M/R/A/ Building 1301, Parmacy. The project consists of demolition and complete renovation of the existing building. Installation of multiple communication and computer lines. Replacement of electrical wiring with explosion proof electrical wiring to include lighting, outlets, switches and all miscellaneous electrical devices as required. Installation of HVAC and exhaust filtration as scheduled for hazardous material storage facilities with complete duct work, insulation and controls. Installation of fire protection, alarm and manual pull box alarm system. Repair of sanitary sewer lines as scheduled. Removal of all asbestos and lead paint as scheduled. Removal of refrigeration compressors. Replacement of all doors with double doors and single doors, frames and hardware as required. Replacement and installation of 2 x 2 ceiling tiles. Rehab of dual use lavatory (handicapped accessible) and shower/locker area. Install office/lobby area as scheduled with interior painting/vinyl wall covering. Install emergency eye wash/shower. Epoxy coat floors and 6'' up walls in hazardous material storage areas. Install grounding points and secondary containment ramps in hazardous materials rooms. Install public address system between office and storage areas. Repair roof, facia, and gutters. Selective re-pointing and exterior painting and metal siding. Security fencing around parking area. North side parking area to be expanded to accommodate tractor trailer deliveries. Street to building relocation of gas line is required. One job, Project YTPM 95-7001. Bid issue on or about 21 July 1995. Bid opening on or about 25 August 1995. Performance period will be 180 calendar days. Estimated cost of construction is $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above, evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. The SIC (Standard Industrial Classification) Code applicable to this project is 1542. The small business size standard applicable to this construction project is a concern, including its affiliates, with average annual receipts from its preceding three years not exceeding $17.0 million.
