The work includes removal of existing 100 KVA Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) System including batteries, battery racks and battery circuit and associated conduit breaker and wiring. Removal of local panelboards including conduit and wiring associated with feeders. Removal of mechanical equipment associated with UPS System. Installation of feeders to new UPS System (by others). Installation of feeder from new UPS System to new distribution panel. Installation of new technical panelboards and feeders from new distribution panel. Installation of new mechanical equipment associated with UPS System. Bid opening date listed in item 10 is approximate. Request bid documents by 13 July 1995. Estimted cost is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The proposed acquisition listed herein is being considered for 100% Set-Aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Concerns. Interested SDB Concerns shall notify this office IN WRITING, Attn: Code R20.3 of their intention to bid the project as prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 15 days of this notice. THIS NOTIFICATION MUST INCLUDE A POSITIVE STATEMENT OF ELIGIBILITY AS A SMALL SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS CONCERN, EVIDENCE OF CAPACITY TO OBTAIN REQUIRED BONDS AND SPECIFIC INFORMATION WHICH DEMONSTRATES THE CAPABILITY TO PERFORM PROJECTS OF THIS COMPLEXITY AND MAGNITUDE.
