Lathrop, Contracting Officer, Rosalind D. Rogers. The work includes building and utility demolition, earthwork, paving, and incidental related work. This solicitation is being considered for 100% set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns that meet this criteria who wish to be considered in accordance with Public Law and Federal Acquisition Regulations should, as early as possible, but not later than 26 June 1995, notify this office, in writing, of their intentions to bid on the project as a prime contractor. This notification must include evidence of capability to perform (including references for similar work with points of contact, telephone number and contract numbers), letter from bonding company certifying maximum level of bonding for the proposed project, affirmative statement requesting set-aside action and intent to bid, and a positive statement of eligibility as a small, socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. Even if you have sent evidence of SDB eligibility on a prior solicitation, you must submit documentation that will become a part of this solicitation file. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns by 26 June 1995, this solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. (Estimated cost range: $250,000 to $500,000). A limited number of plans and specifications will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until the supply is exhausted. There is no charge for the first set of plans and specs; additional sets are $25 each; however, each firm is responsible for obtaining a bid package. Local firms may pick up packages at the issuing office. Out of town firms must make all arrangements for type of delivery desired and notify issuing office. No plan holders lists will be faxed.
