Sandberg at (404)842-6553 Presolicitation Notice: Provide all necessary labor, materials and equipment required for replacement and modifications to air handling units at CDC Facilities, Building 11N, 1600 Clifton Road, NE, Atlanta, Georgia. The existing HVAC system was originally constructed as a constant-volume, multi-zone system serving 670 square meters. Work required for system modifications includes, but is not limited to, the following: Replacement of the air handling unit with a roof-top, variable-volume air handler. Variable-volume terminal boxes will be added for zone temperature control. Miscellaneous ductwork and piping modifications will be required to support the modified HVAC system. A new computer room cooling unit will be required to replace an existing unit. New DDC compatible components will be required to control the new HVAC items and existing lighting. This procurement is a total set-aside for Small Business concerns. Cost range for this requirement is between $100,000.00 and $500,000.00. Bid bonds will be required. Subsequently, Payment and Performance bonds will be required from the successful Offeror. Solicitation Package 95-154 will be available on or about July 25, 1995 for a nonrefundable fee of $30.00 per package. Only written requests with payment will be honored.
