Z -- LIGHTING UPGRADES, BUILDING 1 SOL 95-161 DUE 081595 POC Contact Laurie Johnson at (404)842-6553 Presolicitation Notice: Provide all necessary labor, equipment and materials required for upgrading fluorescent lights in office spaces, floors 2 through 6, Building 1, 1600 Clifton Road, Atlanta, Georgia. Work includes, but is not limited to upgrading magnetic ballasts to electronic ballasts and match fixtures; new lights shall be 32 watt, 2-tube, surface mounted fixtures. Removal of existing fluorescent light fixtures and installation of new light fixtures includes replacing 80 suspended Marlow fixtures with the new surface mounted fixtures, replacing 975 surface mounted fixtures with the new surface mounted fixtures, and replacing tubes and ballast only on 230 fixtures. All existing fixtures removed shall be turned over to the Government. The estimated cost range of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. A bid bond will be required. Subsequently, payment and performance bonds will be required from the successful offeror. Solicitation package 95-161 will be available on or about July 11, 1995 at a nonrefundable fee of $20.00 per package. Checks must be made payable to the Secretary of the Treasury.
