The National Cancer Institute, Division of Cancer Prevention and Control, Early Detection Branch intends to enter into negotiations with The University of Edinburgh Medical School, Edinburgh, RFP No. NCI-CN-55069-41 and the Umea University Hospital, Umea, Sweden, RFP No. NCI-CN-55066-41. Sweden and the United Kingdom have conducted randomized clinical trials on the effectiveness of screening to reduce breast cancer mortality. The offerors shall provide screening trial data for analysis by the NCI's overview analysis team. Individual data records from the trials shall be the basis for data tabulation.
