SOL C500000T1. POC James M. Bzdusek, 513/366-2003. The Environmental
Protection Agency anticipates awarding a Indefinite Quantity Type
Contract for Architect Engineering Services in Regions 6, 7, 8, and 9
(Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Colorado, California and Nevada) as may be
required from time to time as specified in written Delivery orders
issued by the Government. The nature of the services required is as
follows: Fundamental design, final design and follow-on services for
the various construction and alteration projects; Architectural and
engineering studies and reports as may be required, including mater
planning of site; revisions of architectural and engineering drawings
of various facilities to reflect modifications; development of site and
utility plans; structural analyses and feasibility studies;
construction quality control inspections. Some of the types of projects
include: alterations a modifications to existing laboratory facilities;
heating, ventilating and air conditioning modifications; design of fire
protection and detection systems; and site improvements. Firms will be
evaluated according to the following criteria, which are listed in
descending order of importance: A) Demonstrated experience in the
design and construction follow-on services for research laboratory
facilities, B) Experience of key personnel assigned to this contract in
all engineering disciplines and architecture, C) Adequate support
personnel assigned to this contract in all engineering disciplines and
architecture, D) Past record of good performance on public and private
work; and E) Firms located in the Southwestern and Western part of the
United States. The basic contract shall be one year in duration. It is
anticipated that an option will be negotiated to extend the contract
term for two additional one year terms of service. The aggregate value
of delivery orders which will be placed under this contract is
anticipated at $250,000.00 for the base year and for each option year.
This procurement is set-aside for small businesses. The size standard
is $2.5 million average annual receipts during the past three (3)
years. The SIC or Program Element Number is 8712. Firms desiring
consideration shall submit appropriate date as described in Note 24.
Three copies of Standard Form 254's and 255's for the prime and all
team members are to be submitted to the following address no later than
close of business of the 30th calendar day after the date of this
