Radiocommunications Requirements for Cordless Telephones Operating in
the 1.7 MHz and between the 30 and 41 MHz Frequency Bands (available in
English, 11 pages). 6. Description of content: This standard specifies
the essential requirements and minimum standards for operation of the
radiocommunications aspects of all radiocommunication transmitters and
receivers used in cordless telephones operating in the 1.7/40 MHz,
30/39 MHz and 34/40 MHz frequency bands. It contains conditions and
methods of test applicable to establish those requirements as well as
some general requirements including equipment marking. 7. Objective and
rationale: The intent of this standard is to specify the minimum
standards and essential requirements for the operation of the
radiocommunications aspects of this equipment. 8. Relevant documents:
The Radiocommunications Act 1992. AS/NZS 3548 - Limits and methods of
measurement of radio interference characteristics of information
